Leading Influencer Jeremy Jenson on Overcoming Adversity and Building a Successful Million-Dollar Business
Adversity is a part of life that most of us deal with at some point, usually going through it by ourselves. We cannot conclude if one suffered more at the hands of adversity or less, as some people face more than others, however, the real deal is when someone makes it out of adversity with more to gain rather than less.
Going through adversity at the mere age of 10, by losing a father figure and then being raised by a single mother in a low-income housing society in Alief, Texas, Jeremy Jenson learned to be mature and face adversity head-on at a very young age. When most boys were busy playing ball and running around happily in their yards, Jeremy worked hard at school and excelled at everything among his peers.
Later after high school, Jeremy attended the University of Houston, but he dropped out after three years to pursue a career in sales. He was adamant about making something of himself and couldn’t wait to do it. Just like in school, he excelled everywhere he went. He was awarded “Rookie of the Year” by Pizza Hut, and was the youngest rookie general manager at age 22. He went on to work for several other places until he found himself at an HR firm, after which he got inspired to start his own firm at age 26 on Cinco De Mayo.
Running a lead generation-based firm, Jeremy earned about $2,500-$5000 monthly. Market Share Solutions was valued at almost $297,000 and all credit goes to Jeremy’s hard work. He then went on to do lead generation for himself and started his own recruitment company Encore Search Partners, in 2013. They steadily started growing their company from 3 employees to 8 in 2016 to 32 today.
Jeremy is growing his company slowly but surely and is very happy in his line of work. His hard work and determination has awarded him consistent growth and popularity among his fellow entrepreneurs. He has been awarded the Josh Berry Award from the Entrepreneurs Organization and has several mentions in ‘The Houston Business Journal.’
Even after immense successes in all his ventures, Jeremy remains down-to-earth and humble. He has not forgotten where he started and maintained his determination to go further in his business endeavors. He makes everyone around him feel like they can achieve more, and he empowers them and mentors them to do the impossible. These are the things that make him such a loved and respected part of the Texan community.
Jeremy hasn’t let his adversity cloud his giving and nurturing personality and continues to grow and inspire people around him, and his employees, to go a step further and achieve all that they can.
